The Mask You Wear

  • Are you trying to combat your inner battles, situations and difficulties alone?
  • Is your current situation stopping you from realising your true potential, find fulfilment and achieve your dreams?
  • Is the mask you are wearing preventing you from receiving assistance and advise to access the resources within and around you?

If this sounds familiar, then you are not alone. This was my life a few years ago.

I was perceived to be successful, happy and living an enviable lifestyle. Behind the scene, in reality, I was struggling to cope, dealing with relationship problems and health issues. I was piling on weight, feeling lethargic and felt like a stranger in my own life.

Only in the deepest despair, darkest moment, when I felt lost, lonely and at my lowest point did I seek help.

Why? I was seen with the biggest smile, be the life of the party and was always trying to do something exciting.

My mask kept me ‘safe’ from my reality. It also, unfortunately, kept me from dealing with the situation, identify how I got there and asking for help.

I was trying to fill the void with things, places and even food.

Only through accepting the reality, asking for help and advice along with skills I learnt, I managed to emerge from the dark, overcame and evolved into the person I am today!

I now help others to identify, manage and overcome burnout and stress-related illness as a speaker and coach. I share my personal experiences, how I dealt with them myself, along with the tools and strategies I used to emerge from reality. I help them to do the same.

Would be providing a free 30 minutes call, 50% off all my usual sessions and packages or speak at a workplace and donate a portion of it to a charity for this month to honour the

Disclaimer: I’m not a psychotherapist, psychologist or medically trained professional to deal with mental health issues. I work as a coach, mentor and trainer.
